Non-diagnosis support

At NeuroPerspectives, we understand that receiving a non-diagnosis can bring mixed emotions. While you may not meet the clinical criteria for an Autism or ADHD diagnosis, this does not mean your experiences, challenges, or strengths are any less valid.

We believe that everyone deserves to feel heard, understood, and supported—regardless of the outcome of their assessment.

That's why we offer post-assessment support for individuals who receive a non-diagnosis.  You will receive a 1 hour phone call with a clinican and together, we can explore the areas where you may be experiencing difficulties, identify your strengths, and discuss practical strategies, resources, and recommendations that may help you move forward with confidence.

Our goal is not simply to provide an assessment, but to ensure you leave with greater understanding, clarity, and guidance—whatever the outcome.

Because support should not depend on a diagnosis.

Disclaimer

We are committed to providing ongoing support beyond your assessment. Due to demand, there may sometimes be a short wait before you can access one of our post-diagnostic courses. We appreciate your patience and will ensure you are offered the next available place as soon as possible.

If you have not had an assessment with NeuroPerspectives but would still like to attend, places are available for £35 per person, subject to availability.

Our workshops provide practical strategies, opportunities to ask questions, and a supportive environment to connect with others who have shared similar experiences.

If you would like to attend one of our workshops, please visit our Contact Us page and send us an email to reserve your place. Workshop places are subject to availability and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Priority will be given to clients who have completed an assessment with NeuroPerspectives as part of their post-diagnostic support.

ADHD Medication

We work with two private psychiatrists who can provide referrals for private medication management, where clinically appropriate.

Please note that NeuroPerspectives is a private service and is not part of the NHS. Any referral to a private psychiatrist and ongoing medication management will therefore be a separate paid service, with fees payable directly to the private psychiatrist.

If medication is prescribed privately, you may wish to speak with your GP regarding shared care. However, please be aware that GPs are not currently accepting new shared-care arrangements in all circumstances, and your GP is not obliged to enter into a shared-care agreement. This means that you may need to continue paying for private prescriptions and psychiatric medication management.

At NeuroPerspectives, we offer a monthly facilitated support group for women aged 25 years and over who are diagnosed or self-identify as autistic.

Each session lasts 90 minutes and is led by one of our experienced facilitators in a welcoming, supportive, and understanding environment.

The group provides an opportunity to connect with others who share similar experiences, explore topics relevant to autistic women, and build confidence, self-understanding, and meaningful connections.

At NeuroPerspectives, we understand that everyone's support needs are different. That's why we have partnered with trusted providers who offer a range of ongoing, tailored support services.

Should you wish to access additional support, please contact the provider directly using the details below. They will be happy to discuss the services they offer and help you find the support that's right for you.

Please note that NeuroPerspectives is not responsible for the pricing or fees charged by external providers. Any costs, availability and arrangements for these services should be discussed directly with the relevant provider.

If you are interested in additional support provided by NeuroPerspectives, this will need to be discussed with us directly, as our services, availability and fees are separate from those offered by external providers.
